My son is so very happy each day to go to school. That says a great deal. Right away he felt accepted and challenged. Cross Country, math,
and debate teams welcomed him with open arms. Overall, very, very happy with
his experience. I am very impressed with
the level of curricula offered in the coarse work, the amount of extra-curricular activities offered students, and the general repectful, kind atmosphere of the school itself!
This school teaches to the bell curve. The classrooms have up to 30 students in them and if your child is not self motivated your child will fall through the cracks. Getting call backs from guidance or any other department is a major undertaking.
My 3 children have all gone to both public and parochial schools and I must say that Bishop Stang is the Best! I love it for my child and he loves it too! I would recommend this school to any parent searching for an alternative to public education - far better.
Very supportive staff during childs difficult times outside of school curriculum, open communication with parents, quidance department is there to help and direct. Teachers help students achieve higher grades rather than dangling false expectations. An A grade is the ultimate achievement and students can reach it rather than the public school perception that not every one will get an A. Respect by students among themselves and with their teachers is very evident. We will never go back to Public Education.
