There is a very long tradition and world-wide presence in an Ursuline environment. Educating girls in the finest academic tradition is what this school is about. This is a moral vocation in the broadest sense of the word. And this is what this Ursuline Academy is still doing!,

If you were to pay me to leave Ursuline, I'd turn it down immediately. I am currently a 9th grader at UA and I can honestly say the past few year there have been extremely rewarding. Difficult, yes, but worth it. The teachers there do all they can to help out when you are struggling and, recently, the school has gotten updates, such as a brand new locker room, senior lounge, and scoreboard. We have a new (2nd year) principal and she seems to be determined to update UA a little bit more every year. The sports are plentiful, and overall, very successful. The golf, volleyball, cross country, track, basketball, and tennis teams are mostly the ones that earn a championship or 2nd place title at the end of the year. The girls at UA are all sisters. There is no seclusion from grade to grade, we're all family. The academics are challenging for most, but extremely worthwhile. The homework load is about an 8 out of 10, but that just adds to the rewards we students receive when we get to college. We are challenged every single day to reach our full potential, but that's what I love about UA.

I attended the school 7-12 and was accepted to a great undergraduate program as were all of my peers. I do not know of any girl who did not get into her top 3 choice of school. The art and music programs are lacking but that could change with greater parent involvement. The coursework was demanding when I attended but I was sufficiently prepared for my undergraduate and graduate course load in no small part because of the courses I took while there, especially English.

Ursuline Academy, or UA, is an all-girls private school that has high expectations. It is small, yes, but the girls there become not only friends, but a family. The school is partially known for their variety of sports. The sports vary from soccer, ice hocky, cross country, or basketball. Ursuline has a great acidemic program. It covers all of the basic subjects along with others that are not taught in many schools such as religion. Ursuline Academy will become an even better school in the years to come.

Ursuline Academy admits young women who are motivated to learn and academically inclined, and they are the driving force behind the solid academic atmosphere. Music and art are lacking, but many sports are offered and there is a very high percentage of participation in them. Parental involvement is commensurate with that of other schools that don't have mandatory fundraising. Many, many parents attend school sponsored events.

We are pleased with Ursuline, but often times question the actions taken or decisions by faculty. With such a small school, each girl is under a spotlight. Unfortunately many small private schools must 'take what they can get' in terms of faculty. Overall though, great academics. Sports superb but no track, and track team excels. Softball superb. Music and art are 'B' rated.

Ursuline is a wonderful school! The curriculim is A+. The school is very small which alows for added attention. Their strengths are english and science. Their weakness is in music and art. There is none really. The extra curricular activities are basically nill also. The sports teams are very good but not much school spirit for the teams.
