Our son and daughter attended Oakdale School in the '60s and '70s and now we have two grandchildren there (3 in 2011!). The principal and teachers today, like those at Oakdale years ago, nurture their students with kindness and respect while guiding them to high standards of effort and achievement. Also, the after-school programs at Oakdale offer children opportunities to enrich their learning experience through exploring their individual interests. Though the students will all too soon move on, they'll take with them wonderful memories of their years at Oakdale School!

Oakdale is a wonderful school. We very much enjoyed the Olympic sized swimming pool. During the fall, the nut gathering contest held by local squirrels is an incomparable learning experience for the children. Most importantly, the students supply the cafeteria with fresh vegetables grown from the school's very own organic garden. Inspiring the students to take good care of the Earth, the school sports solar panels on the roof which minimize the school's carbon foot-print. I am proud to send my twins to this most progressive and enlightened school.

My kids have a a wonderful experience in Oakdale School. My son, Richard Bruneau, went to Oakdale and loved each teacher he had. My daugher, Isabelle Bruneau, loves learning and loves each teacher she had. Our whole family loves Oakdale!

Miss Armstrong really impresses me with how she knows every students name and how she interacts with them. My children have also had wonderful, caring teachers! An Jeanne, our office secretary, is always very pleasant to deal with! I really love Oakdale School!

The teacher's were so great. My son and daugher went there. The architecture of the school. They have really done a beautiful job preserving the school which is over 100 years old.

The teachers and principle are fantastic. They work to develop of sense of self confidence and community in the children along with their academic skills. They are constantly looking for ways to improve. Many parents are involved in the PTO and volunteer work. The beautifal old brck building and the grounds and playground look like a picture perfect all American school.
