Charles River School is a warm, innovative, learning environment that provides a small classroom learning experience with a high teacher to student ratio. As an alum of CRS, I can tell you that this is a very special place. I attended the school for ten years, Pre-K-8, and highly recommend it to anyone with young children. While all of the learning experiences were valuable, entering in Pre-K gave me the opportunity to LOVE learning from my very first classroom experience. CRS is especially wonderful because of its thematic curriculum and the 7th/8th grade combined community learning environment. Make sure you add CRS to your list of schools to consider. The best money my parents spent during my childhood.

We have been very happy at CRS. The curriculum is engaging, and the children learn so much. They also have a wide range of 'extra' classes including wonderful art and music classes, a very hands-on science program, and after school sports for children starting in fifth grade.

This is a wonderful school, with awesome teachers and terrific parent involvement. Everyone in the community strives to work together cooperatively. My three children attend and I would recommend it highly.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
