i am a current 8th grader at DSMS and i love the school its very clean, there is no bullying at all, and the staff is great. the one thing i love about it though is that i can totally outsmart all my out of town friends because the education is so high. The one bad thing that i could say is that the average grade level is around B+ so when you get say a C+ which is viewed as average in most schools it is viewed as a below average and needed for assistants here.

Supportive, nurturing environment. Kids generally seem well-behaved and there are no graffiti in the hallways. Caring teachers and counselors. Best thing-very poor cell reception bc there is a dearth of cell towers in the area so the kids are not distracted by their cellphones or texting.

Solid school, terrific headmaster (principal) who is focused on the kids. The quality of teaching and extracurricular activities is improving slowly under his guidance. 'Academic team' organization leads to some integration/balancing of academic classes and extracurriculars, but not enough, not as much as team leaders claim it does. Academic teachers do not accept constructive criticism well.
