This school is not good!!!! My child has been abused verbally and emotionally from his second grade teacher and by the principal. There is an investigation going on right now with this teacher. She grabbed a child by the arm, twisting it and pulling him to where she wanted him. He fell over a desk in the process of her pulling his arm. The principal is denying that this happened but the 27 students in the class say otherwise.

Meadow Brook is a very nurturing, caring environment in which students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The teachers are excellent and committed to helping each child reach her potential. Under the great leadership of the principal, the staff collaborates and works as a team to put the best interests of children first. The special education department is truly exceptional and the special ed staff seem to deeply care for the children and work to meet their individual needs, regardless of how severe those needs may be. There is a high level of parent involvement and it seems that the parents and staff work well together.

I was a speech language pathology student teacher as well as a substitute teacher at Meadow Brook. The school had excellent resources, great extra curricular activities (educational plays, puppet shows, dance exhibitions, and field trips), and caring teachers. So many great people come together to help the students that I would highly recommend this school!
