Henry Lord Middle School tries very hard to be a great school! Most of the teachers and students and administration do their very best to help students to be successful. There is a strong professional development for the educators and both state and federal funds available for teachers to better themselves in their content areas and to further their certification. And for the population that the district is dealing with, the results are quiet impressive. One thing is required for the teachers though, aside from funds and professional development. It is leadership. The current principal demoralizes and oppresses the educators. There is never any positive feedback. The lack of skills on the part of the administration to be leaders, to motivate and to set course hinders the overall school, in particular the students. Get a better leader, someone with charisma, everything else will follow.

I hate henry lord. I think the prinicipal needs some respect for parents also the office staff is rude and discourteous when phoning in they talk to you like your nothing . Also the teachers are not very proficient if you dont like your job then change it dont take it out on innocent children i as a parent am frustrated and disgusted with todays education process if our schools cant hold it together then how can our children....A parent that cares about education
