We moved from a nearby school district and were thrilled with the transition to Morse Pond. Excellent staff, great communication, appropriate academics, and I love that they still treat the children as children instead of encouraging a culture of dating and other poor behaviors like the district we left.

The review posted July 2013 is an absolute misrepresentation of the entire school, With the inordinate amount of hours that all of the staff work to provide all possible opportunities for students, it is absolutely disheartening that someone would try to destroy all of those working within this school community. It takes many individuals, working collaboratively for school success. If it is one person's fault, it is everyone's. Rather than hurting the school, community, town and the individuals so dedicated to educating students, it may have been more productive to state the problem and then provide some ideas of how to improve.

Morse Pond School is an amazing place where students learn in a safe environment with dedicated teachers, leaders and experts that understand the developmental needs of every student.

This school is an absolute dissappointment. There is no solid leadership, with zero controls in place for fairness, transperentcy, and/or accountability with administrators or teachers. The lead adminastrator is on a constant campaigne to "manage and spin" their reputation and the schools image. Our child had and witnessed many negative experiences that have effected perminant changes in our childs personality while at this school and is happy and releived not to ever have to go there again. IF your child gets one of the few good teachers, and they like you and your child, your child may do ok... but you have to play the game. It is no wonder the rating has fallen over the last year. Our child is an A student and comes from a loving family of two accomplished professional parents. On a positive note, there are some great teachers, but they falter without a strong leader in place. Parent involvment is NOT incouraged, very low morale...with less that 1% of the parent body involved at all. And many of those who are turn a blind eye, playing favorite with the administrators and actively enable the injustices and imbalance in this school to get there kids ahead.
