Ahern Middle School

I am a retired teacher from this school. I know the dedication that the teachers in this school devote to their students. I would have been extremely happy to have my children attend this school. I miss teaching here, and wish all the students and teachers my very best.

I have one now in High School..taking all honors classes...one at the Ahern now, honor roll..teachers have been wonderful..as for the principal...very happy with the educational experience...

My oldest child is now in college, but had all good experiences while at Ahern. Her teachers were available to help with her academics, I clearly remember how enjoyable the 7th grade science fair was for her, the teachers, nursing staff and administration were phenomenal in helping her maintain her grades while recovering from surgery. Her sister, now a student at Ahern is enjoying the walking, art, cooking and knitting clubs. She is also involved in the school play and the music program. Her teachers have made themselves available for extra help whenever she has had any difficulties. We, as parents, are constantly reminded of the reasons we moved our children to Foxboro...for the schools!

My child is having a rough time with homework. Teachers only want to place blame on the parents. The teachers will only stay one night a week and often the teachers within the same house will stay on the same night. How does that help? They do not discipline. There is no such thing as detention anymore so it seems. Frustrated Parent

We have been very happy with the educational experience that our children have gotten at the Ahern Middle school. We have one daughter that is now in the Foxboro HS, she is taking all Honors classes and doing great-thanks to the groundwork that the middle school gave her. Our other two children are currently at the Ahern and getting a very good education. They are participating in the Music Program, which is fabulous! They also enjoy after school activities: Math club, cooking club, running club or just getting extra help from their teachers. We have also been very pleased with the full time nursing staff, which is a very important factor to our family.
