A good school that enables children to enjoy the safety of caring faculty. Playground equipment is not a priority, therefore, there isn't anything for the non-athletic child to do during recess. No gymnasium, cafeteria, auditorium. There are no resources for learning disabilities. Although the building is very old, it is clean and in good condition. The faculty is adequate. Children thrive under their guidance.
Holy Rosary School is very concerned about student safety and a healthy learning environment. We have a high incident of children that come to us with asthma and other allergic conditions. In a response to this challenge the school has performed a comprehensive testing regiment on air quality during the 2007-2008 school year. We are pleased to learn that there are no seroius levels of any toxic material in the school. The board has chosen to hire a professional cleaning company to address any dust issues in the classrooms and halls. We want to provide the cleanest environment possible for our students. Students at Holy Rosary are ---grounded in faith and given wings to fly.
Poor Air Quality in the Buildings! Has a 100 old building s ventilation unit ever been cleaned? This mean 100 years worth of dirt, dust, asbestos, and mold are collecting in these ducts, circulating in the air. An Air Quality Test has never been done. How many students have Asthma? School is not being cleaned daily. This school does offer a safe environment and good education, and most of the Teachers are kind and dedicated. This review is for the all the other kids and families that are being affected.
I have 2 children enrolled at Holy Rosary, one is 1st and the other in 2nd grade. I am very pleased with the school, I like how you are able to talk with the teachers on a daily basis and can work with them and figure out ways to help your children to succeed. I think they are teaching wonderful habits that I see at home such as holding the door for another person, just little things that add up to alot. Wonderful academic habits being taught beginning with writing in adgenda books in 1st grade this is a wonderful habit to teach the children and they will take many of these skills along with them as they grow.
This is a terrific place for kids to learn how to excel. In addition to a great academic program, students avoid the intolerant 'Brave New World' agenda which is mandated in Massachusetts public education. Catholic Christian values and staff dedication make Holy Rosary an exceptional place for elementary age children. If one wishes to see every dollar stretched to its maximum value and benefit, consider a contribution to parochial school education. Tom Braun Tikrit, Iraq
I have two children at Holy Rosary. 3rd and 6th grade. So far I have been very pleased with the education they have received. What I like the most is that they are taught to be respectful human beings. You can be book smart and able to pass special exams, yet when you get out into society and are able to function as a quality member of that society, you know that you have received a good education.
