My child attended HMS for 3 years and is in his last year and we have to say that we have had nothing but positve experiences with not only the Teachers but the past Principal Dr. Prevetti(who we miss)and the current Principal but also the Office Personal. With the exception of the building being very old and in need of major updates this school is the best & they make you feel so welcome! So if anyone is looking to enroll there child in an Elementry School I would highly sugggest Helen Mae Sauter. Everyone on the staff is great! My child and I are saddened that this is his last year at HMS. We will miss the warm family atmosphere. Thank You to all the Staff of HMS! Keep Up The Great Work!

Until my daughter left this school, I never realized how wonderful this school actually was. They have after school activities and have a good parent involvement rate. This is only because the teachers want the parent involvement. The teachers try to have the children and parents involved in every aspect of their schooling. For 3 years my daughter attended this school and had teachers that loved her. Mrs. Tarr and Miss Miller had compassion and a love of teaching. They made learning hands on by making their students learn by doing and exploring. Parents were always encouraged to bring their own experiences into the classroom to share. I would say that this school placed a wonderful foundation for my daughters first years in school.
