Four Rivers provides an innovative expeditionary curriculum with high academic standards. The teachers are terrific. Small class sizes, community building "Crew" groups, and the loving spirit, make it a wonderful school, providing a safe, supportive and fun place for learning. Each student is known and respected for who they are. The expeditionary approach brings the lessons to life as they are applied to real situations.

As a senior sang at last year's variety show, 'I love this school.' Seriously. This school is like one big family. We have the average downsides of a small school like minimal sports, but it's worth it. Four Rivers has academics that fly past GMS and GHS, and could par up to some private schools. You really have to visit the school to get the full idea, though. I'm a student there, have been for two years, and I will until I graduate (:

First I thought I'd mention the campus itself. Even though our school is on an old farm, so we don't have all the fancy luxuries of an expensive private school, we have a nice, grassy green environment to learn in. The teachers are pretty nice. Because of the small size teachers can focus on each student as an individual, and can give extra challenges or stay after school to help you, as well as other ways. What makes this school stand out, though, is the students. At least in my grade, all of the students are friends. The size may be one reason why. One downside is there are very, very few extracurriculars, only two sports and a handful of after school clubs, for a fee. Overall i think this school might not be for everyone, but it is perfect if you are looking for good academics and a great community.

This is a great school with passionate, innovative teachers. Students are challenged and learning has real world applications. The size makes prevents as many sports and music offerings as GHS, but FR makes up for it in other ways.

I think that the circulicuim is not well rounded enough for the students. They need to learn various methods on how to solve issues and problems. they only teach one way. There is more to learn in school then how to pass mcas.

I think the quality of the teachers and the education meet and even surpass the quality at some of the nearby private schools. Since it is small, it is not able to offer the variety of extracurricular activities that larger schools have, but it more than makes up for it with the school culture, teachers, and curriculum.
