Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Very disappointed in Guidance Department. Why pay $18K a year when you could have a better partnership with your public school? The academics are okay and extracurricular activities plentiful . . . but my daughter had peer issues that the school just would not address. As an unhappy child often means decreased academic performance, we decided to return to the public schools. Too many "mean girls," and administrators who look the other way. Did not find the supportive community that we had hoped to find.

Overall an excellent school for young women on the south shore. Very high expectations with the right teacher involvement. Challenging AP and Honors classes. The all girl atmosphere keeps the young women focused on their studies and activities. Very safe school and nice campus and my daughter has met many very nice girls. Highly recommend.

I love this school. My daughter entered this school with not a lot of self esteem. Has really thrived in academics and in sports. Best thing we ever did for her

I left a public school to attend NDA and immediately saw a remarkable difference. The students are actually interested in learning, and the teachers are patient and caring making sure that every girl understands. I believe that young girls in an all girl environment gives them a chance to grow and develop into herself without the distractions and influence that boys impose at this age. I felt as if this were the first time in my life that I was actually learning. Although not particularly religious, I now appreciate the life lessons that religion classes such as Justice and Morality taught regarding how to live life as a good person and member of society. I remember my time there very fondly and plan to send my girls there as well.

NDA provides an excellent experience that is not limited to classroom education. Our daughter has grown in many ways that I admire and respect. I feel like I can work with the teachers and administration in any area I wish. Many of our daughter's teachers are young, vibrant and excited by what they can share with 'the girls'. Our daughter was tentative about attending NDA at first, now she fears graduation and leaving the close friends she has made. If you wonder about the school, look at the acceptances and scholarships awarded. Or, simply talk with the students during their annual 'open house'.

NDA is an amazing experience. There is something to look forward to every day and even when the work load gets tough you are surrounded by other girls and teachers who really care and are willing to help you. The atmosphere is amazing and difficult to explain unless you've experienced it. Deciding to go to NDA was the best decision of my life!!!!

NDA is a presents a very warped view of reality to girls already sheltered from life. They come out feeling superior in a diverse world that just doesn't have room for such nonsense. The single sex educatoin also stifles these girls from learning to deal with male and females alike, a skill they need to aquire to succeed in life. Furthermore, the acedemics are no better than other local schools. For a more well rounded experience that will prepare one for their future you should look towards Cardinal Spellman or Archbishop Williams. Both offer far more for less $.

NDA was an amazing high school experience. The teachers really got to know you and would help with anything you didn't understand. The athletic and extracurricular activities are really high quality too. The Catholic environment really stresses the love of God and our responsibility to our neighbors. becasue of NDA I was extremely well prepeared for a competitive college and had the confidence to achieve things outside the classroom as well.

Not a fantastic school to attend. Academically, it is a very good and challenging college prep. Plenty of music/art/sport/drama programs. Its easier to get a high school job with this school on your resume, so if you would rather work after school, you can. If you do nothing else at NDA, just get through the academics. And know that whether you love it or hate it every day-- be strong and be yourself -- it will be graduation day before you know it. College is much more open, interesting, fun and exciting. (Class of 95)

This school is great. The teachers are warm, inviting and make you feel comfortable. But, they are also very demanding and the courses are rigorous. It is a challenging and rewarding place to be. You never really understand how good it can be unless you've actually went there, like me. 100% of the girls graduate from high school and move on to a 4 year college. Is there a better guarentee than that?

Teachers are alright, but not great. My daughter has had the same teachers in two subjects for two years, and could have one again this year.

I love this school! The classes are challenging to students of all ability levels and the teachers are extremely nice. The school has the newest technology and excellent facilities. I am very proud of my daughter who attends and is in many honors classes. She is very challenged but if she was ever having too much trouble in a class they would have no problem moving her into the college preperatory. ( which are still above average classes. )
