I agree that there is a fair amount of homework, but if there is no challenge school becomes boring. This year I was placed in all advanced classes and was challenged for the first time. As a student find classes extremely boring if there is is't anything that is difficult. The issue of bullies was also brought up in a previous review and I think the guidence conselors do a great job managing these situations. As for the parents, I believe some of the parents put their children in classes that are too difficult for them. This often causes students to have difficulty. I recomend that parents place their children in classes recomended by their teachers. A 7th Grade Student
Lots of bullying. I went for 6th grade and i left because i was bullied too much. The teeachers dont do much with bullys.
horrible. horrible school. never ever ever move here. its the snobbiest town youll ever be in. i work in the office sometime, and you wouldnt believe the women that trapce through there like theyre something special. the teachers are horrible and do not explain one thing. you easily fall to the back of the class
HMS is a great place for students and teachers alike! It shows everyone how to behave and learn with each other like all schools should!
My son is in the seventh grade in all advanced classes and he too has a difficult time completing all the homework assignments on a daily basis. They want you to have them exercise for an hour a day, attend school, complete 3 hours homework, and have time for family and friends, get 9-hours sleep a day... last time I checked, that only leaves about 1.5 hours left in the day for child time... How do you encourage your child that it gets better?
My daughter is in the seventh grade and she had all A's in elementary school, and the homework was easy to her, and now she comes home every day with a backpack I can't lift, and homework is so hard for her. Her teachers are very kind but they give out too much homework!
