Blessed Sacrament is a fantastic school. i recommend it to anyone who wants a great education with a religeous background. The teachers really know their material. Both of my daughters moved on to very successful careers and i chalk that up to their education at thiis school

This school is a bad choice. It is extremely clicky, and there is a slight bullying problem. The children here are immature. Most of the faculty is disappointing. Many teachers are irritable, mean, and unfair to the students. There is a lack of a sense of humor. If all catholic schools are like this i would thoroughly reccomend public schooling. Students from this school are well prepared for high school but are unhappy with the school itself.

My three children currently attend Blessed Sacrament, and will be there until they graduate from 8th grade. BS has been a fantastic, nurturing experience for the whole family, and the academics are incredible. The teachers and staff are so caring, and I feel like I could not have made a better choice for my children's education.

i attend the school at the moment, and the academics are great, but the lack of gym, auditorium, or cafeteria is a huge con.

This school was instrumental in shaping my three children into the great students they are today. My oldest and middle children were valedictorian of their classes and my third child is in the top 10%. Her valedictorian will also come from Blessed Sacrament. The school is rich with community, academics and the arts. Each child has a chance to reach their full potential with the combined help of family and school. The school also helped strengthen the values I was teaching at home such as respect, truthfulness, hard work and joy of life. Thank you Blessed Sacrament for the wonderful gifts my children received from your school.

I found this school to be extremely 'clicky'- not just among children, but parents as well. The bullying, name-calling and general antics of the kids were no different here than at a public school. Academically it is very good, but it all depends on the child. Overall, not impressed.

Strong sense of community and a great school with caring faculty that prepared me well for high school

My children absolutely love this school! My daughter (Grade 8) and son (Grade 5) transferred to this school when NDIC School in Easthampton closed in June of 2007, along with 40 of their classmates. The principal and parish pastor welcomed them with open arms and have been very understanding of the situation. The academics are excellent--enriched courses are available. The school also has a vibrant art and music program, and participates in CYO basketball. The PTG (parent teacher group) is very active and provides many fun activities for the students.

My son began attending the Blessed Sacrament School when he turned 3 years old. My husband and I were worried at first, because my son was always only around family. My son absolutely loves his teacher and his school. His teacher has been excellent in bringing our son 'out of his shell'. She is very attentive and caring and has helped our son develop both mentally and socially. My husband and I are very happy with the choice we made in enrolling our son in this school and we plan on enrolling our daughter next year!

I had four kids go here, and I believe it's a wonderful school. The school is very active with the parents.

This is a wonderful school. It's small size makes for a very personal experience with teachers, the principal and other students/parents. The principal has the ability to remember you by name, even after the first visit. There is an enrichment program for all grades with an advanced classroom study for the more advanced students in grades four through eight. There is never a communication problem of any kind. Problems can be addressed to the teachers or the principal directly. A big plus, no backpacks full of books to bring home, most of the work is done in the classrooms. Also, being a private school, there are no bullies, or troublemakers.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
