My son entered Berkshire Meadows many years ago when it was called Berkshire Children's Center. When he turned 22, I was afraid he would have to leave but they were authorized to have an adult unit at just about that time, so he is still there. His mother and I worked in the field of care for children (and adults) with developmental disabilities so knew what we wanted for him. After nearly two years of searching, we found it here. Care and services have been superb! Now that I am in my 80s, it is wonderful to be able to feel confident that he will continue to be loved and well cared for. I can hardly praise the staff and administrators enough.
