I'm a new student at this school. The teachers at this school are great, and they teach good things. I feel that I'm part of a challenge, competing with top students like me, and I like the challenge. The only minor problem is that there are a few cliques. But you'll get used to it and be friends, or at least get along with these people vey well as the year passes.

My daughter currently attends this school and is getting a very well rounded education. For the students who have trouble in certain subjects it can be challenging but the school tries to cater to each students needs and has honors classes even for middle school sudents. Some of the teachers are not on the top of their game but most of them are well educated and have a passion to teach. Often this school is compared with Berkshire Country Day School, a nearby private day elementary and middle school but if there are any parents out there debating on the two I would definitley recommend Lenox because the education is of the same value if not higher and it's free. Definitley go for it!

This school system is top notch. It is a private school education at public prices. Small class sizes, some amazing teachers, and a like-minded community that makes education the top priority over (Egad!) sports...not as many choices because of size. Top students find themselves surrounded by other top students, so they end up being 'small fish in a small pond', rather than the 'big fish' they may be used to being elsewhere - Sometimes their (and their parents'!) egos take a hit because of this. Amazing programs with Shakespeare and Company!!!!!

This school involves parents in every subject. You know how your child is doing. Excellent music and drama dept. Academics are the number one priority for all staff. They are available to students everyday after school and to parents to answer questions and keep updated on progress. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.
