My school is the best school system in the world. I can confidently say this because I am the mother of a child with a complex disabilities. Sierra is a ten year old girl who suffered many in-utero strokes, and is also a Kidney Cancer Survivor. My child requires extensive services, highly trained professions, multiple physical adaptations and various accomodations including but not limited to OT, PT, S&L, AT, APE, O&M, Vision, HCP, Transportation, you name the service, my school has reccomended and provided it. Many public schools would seek to place my daughter at a private special needs school; however. this is not the case with my school. The staff, administration, facilites department and supervisors are responsive, supportive and always go the extra mile to help keep my daughter as close to her natural environment as possible. My School has provided a better placement, academic curriculm and experience than any private school. We've reviewed schools, programs, and staff across, the state of Massachusetts and in New England - there is no school that compares to the compassion, dedication, and effort that Lexington puts forth. I implore you to consider, Harrington Elementary School for this money, they will utilize it more effectively and positively than any other school, and should be recogonized for thier tremendous efforts.

Harrington Elementary is a wonderful school with a rich, diversified student population. The students really learn the core values of respect, cooperation, relationships and school spirit. They do need to adjust [increase] their 4th and 5th homework load, as most if not all graduating classes are not prepared for the dramatic change in the workload at the Middle Schools, which focus hard on studies but allow no time for social engagement. The school has the best teachers and a great after-school program that work together to create a most rewarding environment for children of all levels and all ages, something you rarely see in other towns. Parent participation is good but could be better. That includes myself. I give it 9.0 stars our of 10 and would highly recommend parents to visit and talk with the faculty and parents about what Harrington could offer their child: A wonderful growing and learning experience!

This is a warm, inclusive school! The principal is fair and firm in his handling of behavioral problems. True tolerance is practiced here, everyone's values are respected. They focus on academic education and social differences are not used to promote division and create controversy as in some other Lexington elementary schools. I highly reccomend this school but do not recommend the middle schools or the high school.
