I go to this school and i just want to say i did not think this school was good at all. The math teachers (which is my worst subjects), half of them have barely taught me anything. The teachers were willing to help after school, but most of them if you went didn't do much for your own good. I'm very serous about school and such and I'm sorry I had to go to Clarke, because I thought that this school was terrible

I love it at Clarke! It's a great school and the teachers are really great as well. Math instruction could be improved a little but other than that there isn't much to improve. With the exception of a very small few, the teachers will go out of their way to help you succeed. Clarke has problems, but these problems really can not be solved and will be found at any public middle school (bullying, etc.), but are not big problems. This is a great school! A+!

I'm a former student from Jonas Clarke Middle School. I'm a Freshman now at Lexington High School. Although at the time with my experience at Clarke, I really thought that it really stunk alot and that teachers are so annoying with all the homework that they give you. But once when I stepped into highschool, I immediately noticed that no matter how annoying or stupid or whatever we THOUGHT the teachers were, they were really the nicest of them all. Always accepting no matter how much attention was needed, always willing to sacrifice time to spend with their students and also willing to give a hand and make the students really feel comfortable at the school. With also the guidance counsilers always there just ready to be tackled by all the issues, and the staff always trying so hard to make everything a great place for the community. Thanks Clarke.-Dan L

This school is the best middle school in lexington! teachers here really care about the students, and help them when they need help. its awesome!
