I am a student at LHS. The teachers know the students and really care about them. There are also plenty of opportunities to excel in all sorts of areas (academic, extra-curricular, sports, community service etc.). It's a small district where you can discover who you are.

Excellent school system. All schools have wonderful administration & staff, and programs to encourage & develop interests and skills, and they readily accomodate differing abilities & learning styles - including gifted kids, who are often unsupported in other schools. Principals of the primary & middle school know every child personally by the 2nd week of school & are loved dearly by the kids. Staff members of all schools are very involved, supportive & caring. Many attend evening & weekend concerts, plays, sports events, etc. despite living far from town. Middle school staff often attent high school events, loudly cheering for their former students. Kids leave here ready for the challenges of college.

A great school that offers individual attention. The student has the ability to progress at a greater than curriculum pace. We compared this to the close 'big name' schools and found that drug use and 'spoiled' factor was much less

Littleton Schools were really my one and only choice. Acton-Boxburough would have beena chalange for me to attend, due to transportation in the morning. I love this school system beacsue I feel safe going to school everyday. I know that I can choose the class level that is appropriate for my skill. The only down side to these schools are that no recomendations are needed to reach enter an 'Honors' class the next year. I feel liek this holds some of the students [including myself] back from reachingt hier full potential.
