The administrative staff is absolutely horrendous! I walked in to be greeted by a grumpy secretary not once but multiple times. I requested to meet with the principal and unfortunately he was not in that day. So i left my information for him to contact me on his own availability. After sending a couple emails about my request, more than a week later i still had no response. I visited the school a couple more times and still had no luck reaching the principal. It was clear they weren't doing their part to work with me so I had to pull some strings and used a personal connection to arrange for my request. When I showed up to complete my request, the principal finally shows up and half interrogates me as to how i managed to do so. The only reason I didn't give this school "unsatisfactory" is because the teacher I was able to connect with did a great job teaching his class and was the only nice person I met there. Unfortunately my terrible experience with the administration left me with a sense of unwelcomeness and distaste for the Henry J. Robinson Middle School, so much that I never want to go there again. Good Luck to the rest of you. -University Student Majoring in Education
My school is very good! I love it a lot. It does have some problems, but it's still a well developing school. This school is a very good size. From 5th to 8th grade. My name is Matthew Kroch and I love the Robinson School.
this school is the worst schol ever!!! It is complete chaos!! they stick the special ed children in a basemend janitor closet with no windows and the time out rom is concrete walls and flors nothing else. The schol does not take responsibility for their short commings and just points the finger where ever possible. They have no tolerance for special education choldren and their staff is the worst I have ever sen and I have been involved with many many schols!!!
The Robinson is a alright school. I graduated from it last year. The teachers can get a lil pushy and same with the principle but other then that i had fun there. The are really stuck on making you learn so i think that is good. If you attend this school or send your child there they will have fun and learn a lot at the same time.
I will be honest with you when my child was entering the Robinson School two years ago, I was nervous - they have received extremely negative PR in the community, but after attending a meeting with other parents with the principal, I was certain that this was the school I wanted my child in. It has been two years and I can't say one bad word regarding the school - I love the principal, both last years and this (last year's retired) and I have met all of her teacher's who seem extremely involved in her learning process. She is also involved in the school's music program and the teacher is just wonderful. She has learned alot musically and it has opened doors for her in other areas of confidence. I just wish there were more funds for the school for more activities for the children.
