Overall, good experience with teachers and the curriculum they teach. Offers AP and Honors level courses. Main problem with the district is the administration and their utter lack of professionalism and accountability (don't follow student handbook, practice a 'group think' with a low opinion of parents and students, written requests for information often ignored, talk down their own staff at school committee meetings; large proportion of students choose Assabet Valley over Maynard - they don't like to discuss why a number of residents leave). Your child could get an education there, but be forewarned of the risks in dealing with the people who run these schools!
Nice school with a great student to teacher ratio. Facilities at the high school need to be upgraded. Sports program is very good despite small number of students
