Great school as long as your child does not require and IEP. Individual Special Education is not supported in this district or community for that matter. No SEPAC for collaboration between parents and district. Teachers do their very best with what they have to work with.

Small town school good for traditional learners. If your child has an IEP or is a 'hands on' type learner you may find an uphill battle. Our IEP plan looked good on paper, but we experienced difficulty having it actually implemented. There are some great teachers in the mix.

We have been very happy with our childrens educational experience at Elmwood. The Millbury school system cares about every child. Remeber that when looking at (mcas) scores look at the whole picture. We want our kids to be part of a school that cares about the child as a whole not just how well the districts scores!

Overall decent school with good parent involvement and educational activities. Structured setting for elementary school age to get them off to a good start.
