One of the best decisions we've made as parents is to send our 2 children to Assuption. My children, my husband and I love it. The children not only learn academics but how to truly be a community. The older children are buddied up with younger ones from K thru 4 and help them throughout the school year with various projects. We have found a lifelong friends in some of the Assumption school famiies. We couldn't be happier. I wish the school went right on thru high school. When the time comes, it is going to be difficult to find a high school that can compare to the wonderful enviroment that is at Assumption. With groups like Ski Club, Scrabble Club, Robotics, and Cross Country trach, there are plenty of E.C.A's to choose from. Because the school is not too big, the staff really get to know the children. Great School!!!

Assumption School in Millbury is a wonderful school that instills good learning practices and respect from the early pre-K years right through the eighth grade. Children who attend this school will learn good study habits, responsibility and accountability for their actions. They learn solid foundations in the three R's (reading, writing and arithematic.) They are well prepared for high school and college.

Assumption School of Millbury is the most impressive elementary schools that I have been involved with. Recently we moved our child to another school closer to our house. A week and a half into school, we realized very quickly that the new school was not the right fit for them. Two weeks into the year, I called Assumption where they had gone the year before for kindergarten. The response I received was overwhelming. The staff and principal were more than happy to welcome my child back to the school. Our experience in the first year was phenomenal. Beyond the courteousness of the staff and the sense of urgency with which they approach every situation, we have found the curriculum in the lower grades to be way above what other schools are offering. They have cultivated a sense of responsibility and morality within our child as well as a passion for learning.

The academics at this school are great. However, it is a small school so there is only one choice for foreign language. Also, the amount of fundraisng is absolutely ridiculous! By the time you are done with all the fundraising, you'll have tacked on a few hundred dollars more to the tuition costs. It's really out of control at this school.
