Led by principal Anna Nolan, Wilson is an excellent learning environment. While there can always be an occasional disappointment with human interactions with staff or teachers, overall teacher commitment to students is very high and the academic work is challenging. Anna and her staff have successfully navigated the implementation of the "1-to-1 laptop" program for 8th graders which will bring our children into the world of cutting-edge teaching tools. It is not just another technology gimic; teachers are embracing a new way of teaching thru the tools of laptops and technology. This will place Wilson graduates at an advantage over their peers at other schools in the years ahead.
Wilson Middle School in Natick has top shelf admin and teachers - equal to or better than their counterparts in the surrounding W towns. And the School Improvement plan is aimed at real change, not "pie in the sky" statements of change, that will help the whole student body have better outcomes.
Wilson is a wonderful school. The teachers really care about the students.
I love how Wilson makes so many extra-curricular activities available to all the students!
