My child has been at NCA for 11 great years! This school has given her so many opportunities to grow, mature and learn. She takes part in every extra fun activity or group/team that she can. Now, in high, school she is a part of the dual enrollment program with UMass Dartmouth and is thriving. The staff, students and administration at Nazarene Christian Academy are the best! My "little girl" will be ready to take on the dorm, college and life after graduation thanks to the community and opportunities at NCA!

I attended NCA from pre-school through highschool, and I attribute my academic success in college and now graduate school to the strong foundation I was provided at NCA. The college-prep curriculum prepared me for the rigors of college level reading, critical thinking, and writing well before it was time to plan for my college career. If you are looking for a school for your children that will prepare them for college success, all in a loving and supportive Christ-centered environment, I highly recommend Nazarene Christian Academy.

This school can fool a lot of people with the word "CHRISTIAN" in it! The school is full of troubled kids who do nothing else but bully other kids. The principal and the administration does nothing to stop the bullying from going on and it even admits that they do not know how to approach the situation. It should be very clear to NCA that some of the students should be suspended! My granddaughter suffered with bullying for several years and has finally left this institution and what a difference the new school has made. Even though NCA will state at their open house that "zero" bullying is allowed, it is a lie! Terrible school is what NCA is for promoting bullying with the excuses that these bullies come from troubled families and there's nothing they can do! A lot of the NCA students need psychological assistance and NCA is not adequately prepared with a psychologist/social worker to assist these troubled kids. I highly DO NOT recommend this school unless you want your child to spend her time fighting or trying to understand why they are being bullied and nothing gets done to stop it!

Don't be fooled by the word "Christian" in the name of this school. For years my daughter attended NCA (K-7th grade) and for all those years she suffered nothing but bullying! We finally had it and recently moved her to another school. For years I tried to have the NCA stuff address this issue and their response was always the same " we don't know how to address the situation." NCA has a lot of troubled kids and although they will tell parents that there is a zero tolerance for bullying it is a pure lie. NCA covers it all up.

Academically, this school is pretty good. The teachers teach well and are nice. But i can't say the same for the students. In every grade there are cliches and if you don't get into one, then your entire experience is terrible. The school is filled with bullies and unless you are one of them, you'll have a tough time fitting in. I strongly reccommend that you bring your child to a different school. It's not worth it.

This Schools offers students a very good education with a great deal of and special attention from the staff for students having academic difficulties. The great strength of this school is the caring staff. I have seen Susan Helm, the school director go to astounding efforts to get individual students the help and services they need. This is a school community that is a family not just a school. The classroom sizes are small and a sense of community is encouraged. Students show a great deal of acceptance towards each other. It is the rule rather then the exception to see students helping each other. Their arts programs, which includes drama, music and art also provide students with many unique opportunities. After working in many public schools, I have never seen student performances with more spirit and joy. These experiences add greatly to each student's sense of self-worth!
