i am a student who goes to this school. its a very friendly place and they make you very welcome. it my second family!
This Schools offers students a very good education with a great deal of and special attention from the staff for students having academic difficulties. The great strength of this school is the caring staff. I have seen Susan Helm, the school director go to astounding efforts to get individual students the help and services they need. This is a school community that is a family not just a school. The classroom sizes are small and a sense of community is encouraged. Students show a great deal of acceptance towards each other. It is the rule rather then the exception to see students helping each other. Their arts programs, which includes drama, music and art also provide students with many unique opportunities. After working in many public schools, I have never seen student performances with more spirit and joy. These experiences add greatly to each student's sense of self-worth!
