Swift river is a great school that has struggled with budget cuts and worked hard not to have it affect the arts and the quality of education. There have been many curriculum changes over the past three years, example, a new math program.

I think that Swift River is an AMAZING school! They spend enough time on everything, the arts, math, fun andother things that form a child's mind. Swift River has a host of amazing teachers and I wouldn't change it for the world!

Swift River is most definetly too laid back! There have been children that can't spell, tell time, read and then all of a sudden in sixth grade their the school says their fine and off to graduation. Too busy with playing. Yes, they are children. But we need to exercise their brains!

I too agree that Swift River is a little bit on the relaxed side. I believe that children should be addressing their elders as Miss,Mr.or Mrs. and not by their first names. I do, however, feel this school is allowing the children to be more like children and not programming them to be like robots without any 'child play' time like the other Catholic school that our child attended. Kids need time to be kids and constantly pushing them to be college bound by the time they are in the third grade just isn't right. Kids have enough time to be adults without adulthood cutting into their elementary years.

Swift River School has been absolutely wonderful for my child. They provide the attention and care that she needs as well as level appropriate lessons. Homework is more than adequate. The staff is caring and friendly. Great School!

I am not pleased with swift River at all. They are to laid back> I felt that there is not enough homework and that they should be concentrating a little more on class time then play time. School is not about all play and I found that there was not enough class time.

I think Swift River is a great school although I think they can be a little on the laid back side. This year we have a new principal and I think he will make some needed changes. I would like to see a little more in the math department as well.
