It is an awesome school and has great teachers! There are many extracurricular activities to do such as Conte's Drama Team.

I am a student at Conte Middle school and the first thing I can tell you is the students are not treated horribly, only if they make the teachers that way. Also the teachers are very well educated and will help your son or daughter achieve. The faculty isn't that bad. I will admit there are some down falls, but I had some of my best memories in that school and I bet your son or daughter will have a lot of good memories also. I think it is an average school.

The quality of teachers is impeccable. Although the facility is not the best the teachers and administration make up for it. My child has flourished at Conte.

I was a former student here (3 yrs). Exterior looks okay, but interior is like the inside of a prison. I toured the school 3 yrs ago, and it looked the same. Class sizes were large, up to 40 students. Discipline was non-existent. Here, being on the honor roll gave you a ticket to do whatever you wanted. Even troubled students were mildly disciplined at best. Best feature: Many extracurricular activities. Worst: Students treated horribly by faculty. If you can homeschool or pay for a private school while your child is in 6-8th grade, do it. Your child will thank you later.
