Franklin has great teachers and a very active PTO. Their 4th grade program has 4 teachers versed in topic specialties that gear the kids to get acclimated with the middle school type rotation they'll be getting into.

Entire staff of school from para professionals, to teachers, to the principle are focused on ensuring each child learns and is challenged in a fun and engaging way. The level of respect across the school is also evident in the way the children interact (heightened sensitivity to stopping bullying, and creating inclussion.)

The 'gem' in North Andover. Not much to look at, but superior PTo and teachers. This school has it together. Don't be fooled by newer, bigger elementary schools (Sargent). We are happy to be redistricted to Franklin.

This used to be a gem in the school system. Now it is overcrowded and the fine staff is streached to their limits. Class sizes are 27:1 in lower rades and 35:1 in gr 4&5. This is not likely to change and many good teachers are leaving town.

This school is just amazing.I was enrolled in 1st grade there at the age of 6 and i am now 13 years old and it makes such a difference. I am now one of the brightest kids in my class. Mrs. Danowski, my favorite teacher there has such a way with teaching children. Also, the children have learned about grieving with death. Mrs. Kennedy a fourth grade teacher and mrs.Willis there nurse both recently passed and my sister hannah was heart broken and the teachers taught them how to cope and there were counslers everywhere to help. Its a great school. Simply amazing
