This school is a very nice place to attend. The teachers are very kind and understand their students, most going the extra mile to ensure students leave their classroom with all the knowledge they intended to give, an amazing feat given that every other week students are not in those classes. The school itself also has a very different atmosphere than other schools in the area, teaching practical knowledge rather than things that will only apply on a standardized test and not help them beyond. There are one or two problems, though. A sizable portion of the student body can be described as prejudiced, unintelligent and rather obnoxious. Teachers cannot do much if a student is being a major problem in their classes - with bullying, copying of answers, and constant interruptions being a major problem this is not a good thing. The only solution to that is to go to the administration and hope they can help, however in most cases they only truly affect students normally well behaved and punishments to chronic offenders being a slap on the wrist. Also, their computers are all hopelessly outdated, with CRT monitors difficult and painful to read. Overall, a perfectly above-average school.
I have had nothing but problems with this school my child is a diabetic, and having ups and downs with mood swings from this also the name calling from the dean of students and teachers. Also my child is 17 and they do not treat the teenagers as individuals. If you have a problem or having a hard time with studies or talk back they just want to push you out of the school they do not know how to deal with medical issues at all.
