When a student enters the front door of Algonquin it is assumed that student will go to college and the student is treated as such.

I've been in Northboro for the past 18 years and my daughter just started as a freshman at Algonquin. We know most of everyone in the community and are really involved with this school. We love Algonquin because it gives students the opportunity to grow learning the best information we can expect from a school. There are so many wonderful extracurricular activities ... and the teacher are amazing!!!

Algonquin is a fantastic school for bright, motivated students. They are well prepared (and better prepared than most of their college peers) for college. However, for students who aren't in the honors classes, the school doesn't do too well. Some of the teachers of honors classes could teach at the college level, but many of those who don't teach honors are not good teachers and don't care. Not all children can be honors students in all classes, and they shouldn't have to suffer from indifferent teachers. I'd like to give 5 stars for the honors students, and 3 for the 'CP' students and lower, so I'm averaging with a 4.

We had the chance to send our children to private boarding school but after much research, Algonquin was the best choice. All three of our children have gone onto Ivy League schools and to this day, comment how Algonquin made the difference.

I am a parent. This is a great school. We chose to send our kids here instead of he private school near us because we told they would do better here. And they did great. Both of my children got into wonderful colleges (ivy league and top 20 according to US News) and i couldn't be happier.

Easily one of the top 10 high schools in Mass. if not New England. The school is outstanding and supportive, yet really challnges students. Seniors go off to the best colleges in the Nation every year.

When moving to Massachusetts, we picked Northborough because Algonquin was easily the best HS in the EMASS/CMASS area. Our realtor told us it is considered one of the top 50 High Schools in the Country. We could not be happier with our choice.

Wicked Awsome! Algonquin is a unique experience because it allows students to be much more independent than other schools. I think it prepares us for college better because of the independence it gives us. I can tell the teachers love their job and love going to school everyday. Their love for the subject inspires ours.
