We came to St. Bernadette School four years ago and we couldn't be happier. Originally we were attracted by the fact that the school is Catholic and it offers a Transitional Kindergarten program (my son misses the local K cut-off by one week). We've been so pleased by our children's experiences. The teachers and administrators we've dealt with are very dedicated and "faith-full". My children have received extra support in handwriting skills and extra challenge in math due to teacher suggestion. Our children have made many good friends, and we have met many wonderful families through the school, too - great people who share our values. The elementary years set the foundation for a child's education, and we are thrilled that our children's foundation is coming from St. Bernadette's.

We started here when my son was in second grade. Couldn't say enough good things about the school then. He is now is fourth grade and the school is not big enough for the number of enrollment. Way too many students. The fourth grade program is too difficult a transition. They go from a loving, nurturing third grade with one teacher to three teachers in fourth . It's too soon. The teachers turnovers seems high considering the number of teachers. We've had problems with bullying that was handled poorly! It can be VERY political also. A few parents who are very involved seem to get preferential treatment. Tuition goes up every year and more students are enrolled . Our opinion is its gone from quality to quantity. Our options are limited and the tuition is reasonable but If we had another choice we'd have removed my son. Some very good committed teachers and some really poor ones. Hit or miss. Again, very political. If we lived in a town with a really good school system he would definitely attend public school.

Phenomenal school! Great pk program and great elementary. Three children attend the school and are having wonderul experience. The academics, values, are seond to none. Our only minor complaint is the lack of indoor play space. The school has grown so much that every area is utilized. The school needs more space. Hurry limted spaces available for next academic year

Wonderful school and parish community. My children are loved and feel loved everyday. Outstanding leadership in principal and pastor. Teachers are top notch and care so much about the children. Strong faith based academic program with expectation on children to behave and treat people as Jesus would treat them. If you are looking for a strong faith based school with excellent academics this is it!

Great school-the best part is that every morning, my children-8 and 5 yrs old, are HAPPYto go to school and actually excited. Discipline is also agreat part of the learning experience.After-school care also helps-in acrunch , you can request your child to stay at the after-school program.

My son is in the fifth grade and has attended St Bernadettes since he was three. The academics are amazing. The individual attention that the students are offered is great. The extracurricular activities are good. They are constantly expanding the programs available. Parent involvement is huge. It is such a tight knit family oriented school. I love the children that my son has grown up with. I love the manners that are instilled in the children and the respect that they show others.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
