This is a great school. I love this school. The teachers are great. Band was fun. I have very very verry many memories from there. It will always be simply the best.
This school holds many good memories for me and many of my friends. I always learned a lot there as a student. However, the school needs some work. I think that the vice priciple cares for the school more then the principle herself. The school has gotten healthier since the time I spent there. They recieved a health grant and worked toward better lunches, starting with the removal of the soda machines. I belive that the teachers at this school are underestimated. They are very knowledgable and helpful. During my middle school career I noticed that with a change in principles became a change in rules. Overall I'd say that this is a good school.
This school has a principal who seems to be very interested in the good of the children. She has zero tolerance for any kind of bullying. All the schools in town have an intergrated phone system in which announcements can be made with a recorded message and sent to all households with a push of a button. The middle school has 'team' teachers. Each grade has three teams: blue, green, and gold. The teams are the students' major subject teachers(math, science, english, and social studies). During parent/teacher conferences parents meet with the team. Each teacher takes their turn informing the parents about the student's progress. I was very impressed with the 6th grade green team last year. They were all willing to work with me.
