I love that the children are taught that they can do anything and be anything that they want to be as long as they work hard. The teachers work hard to foster an environment that encourages students to reach their potential and mentoring is a part of the program. Also there is a great deal of parental involvement, which is embraced by the faculty.

I moved to this town for my kids, but I must say that I'm very very disappointed with the school system in Plainville. Plainville does not award any achievement certificates to the kids rec'd A's & B's. They only award the kids with straight A's and A's & (1) B !!! My child was very dispointed because not even a certificate of achievement for all (3) years, she rec'd nothing. I believe a child should be recogized for their great efforts in school. This was very upsetting because my child came from a school that awarded certificates to all the kids who got High Honors & Honor Roll at the end of very qtr. When these awards were presented to those kids who excel, its showed the other kids that they too could succeed as well in doing better in their school work. Many other parents were disappointed as well.

The principal of this school is a wonderful example of all that a principal should be. Parents and students love her. She makes everyone proud to be a part of this school system. Teachers and support staff couldn't be more involved, concerned, and just so committed to the kids and their education. The parental involvement is great-very welcoming to new parents, and adds another layer of fun to the community. The overall atmosphere is a well-oiled learning machine with tons of fun and school spirit thrown in to the mix. This is our first year in this school system-I wish we had gotten in sooner.
