Not only has it provided my son (now in 5th grade and about to graduate to middle school) with a top notch education, it has also been willing to work with him and his learning issues. The teachers and special education teachers are phenomenal and the principal is the most hands on, creative and dynamic academic in the area! She has worked with staff, students and teachers to create a vibrant academic environment within a safe and supportive environ.

I'm so impressed with Killam Elementary School and with the team that Mrs. Giles, the principal, has put together. The kids are most important... Mrs. Giles and her staff know everyone's name and take the time to talk with them. The teachers are fantastic - and there is a mix of different teaching styles for each grade level so that children are placed in a class that would work for their personalities. The support the teachers receive from Mrs. Giles (tell me what you need, I'll figure out how to get it) is just phenomenal and the support parents receive from the teachers, support staff and Mrs. Giles is second to none. We couldn't have asked for a better school for my child.

The Killiam is an awesome school. The teachers are all highly qualified and very dedicated to each and every student. If any special needs are needed for your child, they are the first to pursue what is available and to make sure that your child is placed in the correct environment to help with his/her special need.
