I do not have any complaints with the work load the students receive. But I do not recommend this school to any minority children to attend, if they want to be treated fairly. My child will definitely not attend next year. Leadership is to blame.

I currently have three children attending M.P. The new Principal (Jan Sheehan) is doing an incredible job. If you have any doubts at all, I suggest you look up the AYP reports on the Mass. DOE website. M.P. has made incredible progress in the past two years. A dedicated Principal and hard working teachers make all the difference. Successful students are not just a product of a school, they are also a product of dedicated parents that understand school doesn't end when the bell rings at 2:00.

The Memorial Park school teachers are very strict. During my childs elemantry school years we realized that are childs grades were not good until I put them in a private school {Holy Family}. When I transfored my child to the private school she was given the educational help she needed to increase her grade levels. And she did! When my daughter was recieving her elemantary education the teachers were tough and inconciderate. Every month my daughter recieved new rubic for a book report, science report, and a long compationWith my job I get home latean itsdifucult to help my daughter with all her work. I would not recommend anyone who has recently moved to rockland to send their child to this school!

There is a new principal at Memorial Park School. I had the pleasure to speak & meet with her over the summer. She was so pleasant, and helped me with information on how to get my youngest son to attend Memorial Park. She took matters into her own hands, and told me what I needed to do. I had sent 2 e-mails and 2 letters to the School Commitee, and never heard back from them. Mrs Sheehan made this happen within 2 weeks. So far from what I've seen, she's going to be a great leader for Memorial Park, and I wish her the best. Jean Shiner 2 sons at Memorial Park 1 in 1st and the 2nd in 3rd............

Memorial Park has some great teachers, but has had poor leadership. there have been recent changes in leadership which will hopefully help the school.
