I think all the parents in this school need to wake up... It is so clicky and unless you are in the click Dr. Stanton will not hear you. Maybe that is why that is the only elementry school that is failing... There is no disiciple for the kids I guess if you only care about sitting arounf the playground talking in a circle then maybe it doesn't bother you. Hopefully the new Super in town sees it too, maybe thats why its the only elementry school with the extended day on its agenda...

My sons have been attending this school for four years. The principal isn't very helpful however the teachers are. Teachers are also very devoted and caring. They received new curriculum in almost all areas (2008) and most classrooms have a smartboard.

the school lacks in everything, poor leadership, strong direction and money seems to dissappear. Someone felt painting the front office was a higher priority than creating a real library space. Parents are allowed to Sub, with no degree or formal teaching in educating and our children get to play bingo when a teacher takes time off. The MCAS is shoved down our childrens throats with no thought to the mental welfare and pressure this places on them. If the school focused on teaching our children all year they would pass the MCAS without all the prepping, which is cheating.
