Fantastic teachers who connect with kids. The school is going through a modernization/transformation driven by the PTA which is extremely active and supportive from driving new technology investments to raising $35,000 to build a new playground. They recently added foreign language courses. My daughters are having a fantastic experience.
North Elementary and its teachers was the place my kids got their start at enjoying school, acedemics, music programs and all its extracurricular events. The teachers and its principal Mrs. Fortin were caring educators whose best interest was that the kids came first. My children were young buds that bloomed in that environment. I feel that because of their experiences at North Elementary, they are the bright, ambitious, young adults they are today. Thank you North Elementary
I attended North for 6 years and the principal and teachers are great! They will give your child the best experience in elementary school you can get in Somerset. Also, because of the large number of students in that school you would have no problems switching to the Middle School. The building is also similar in size to the Middle school.
