As a former student and former faculty member of DY I have only good things to say about it. I had great teachers and a great experience at the school. The extracurriculars are phenomenal and the students here have so much talent and so much heart.

Our son graduated from D-Y in 2005! When entering 9th grade he had an opportunity for a full scholarship to go to a private local High School, but after we talked to the principal (Mr. Jenks), he decided to give D-Y a try. The AP courses are extemely challenging with small classes, and teachers that push students to do their best, and that's what made my son strive to be the best. He got full scholarship to a Private University and got a 3.66 his first semester there. He feels like he was very well prepared for college, thanks to his teachers . He wishes, AP classes will be availabale to all grade levels in the future. He was very active in Band as well. This school has it all, if the student wants it they will make it happen! A very caring community!
