Everyone in the school tries to live by the philosophy of Martin Luther King Jr.

Students are treated with respect and expected to conduct themselves in accordance with Dr. King's vision of Beloved Community. The atmosphere of the school is calm, but enthusiastic about learning. Teachers are deeply committed to each child's academic and personal success. Parent involvement is encouraged in every way possible.

the school is great and it is a different experience from public school...this is a hands on school...I recommend it...my child has been there for 2 year and she is in 6th grade and I didnt think she would achieve so much.

This year will be my child's fourth year attending this school. She has been with the school sinc they first opened and she has learned how to respect herself and othes. She has grown to appreciate and respect other cultures. She also is learning more than she would have in a regular public school. I love it!!!

MLK focuses on the whole child and strongly encourage family involvement. My child commutes from two towns away to attend MLK.
