My nephew started Edgewood in 7th grade and he absolutley loves it. The kids are nice. The teachers are effective and responsive. He is excelling in every way! Kudos to Edgewood/GBA. I highly recommend them.
Edgewood Elementary School offers quality education from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. The classrooms are multi-grade: students learn to self-direct & can take advantage of the opportunity to learn advanced academics while in the lower grade of their classrooms; the higher grade students re-learn by helping 'tutor' younger students in their classrooms. Greater Boston Academy is the high school portion, offering excellent academics for a basic diploma as well as advanced honors diploma (graduates have attended top U.S. universities). Student/teacher ratio is 10:1, enabling all students to succeed. Extracurricular activities include music, sports, & drama. Community service is part of the curriculum. Edgewood/GBA is a Christian school located in a quiet residential neighborhood, accessible by the T. Parental involvement is welcomed & encouraged.
