South Elementary School

South School is a great little school. It has a wonderful caring staff that knows each and every student. The school itself is an older building but is really charming. It was designed to fit into it's natural surroundings. The children have recess in a lovely setting surrounded by fresh air and nature. I hope that the town will stop neglecting the building and restore this little gem.

South School has a wonderful climate and culture. The teachers are creative and energetic. Class sizes are generally very favorable, but the revolving door on the administator office has been difficult to deal with and lead to some class size struggles.

We are the hidden jewel of Stougton. The incredible staff and PTO make this an evironment condusive to learning.

south school is the greatest. it is possibly one of the best schools in the district. i am a former student of south school. the school had some wonderful teachers and great safety for the students. it is a truly wonderful school.
