What a find! The teachers, staff and students here constitute a real community, one that is both nurturing and open. On the whole, teachers and staff are responsive. The school is also academically excellent for a range of abilities and learning styles. I had given up on Jewish day school education before our family found this jewel.

Few schools demonstrate the child-centric, inclusive and differentiated educational approach as well as SASSDS, even fewer within the Jewish day school environment. Teachers are constantly seeking to become better at teaching and, consequently, students feel nurtured and challenged to do their best. This school is attracting an incredibly diverse population and is proof that inclusiveness and effective differentiated learning actually enhance the overall educational experience. As an experienced educator myself, I hope more day schools learn from the SASSDS example.

This is a phenomenal school on all levels. Both the secular and Judaic curricula are top-notch. There is a new math and science curriculum. They are serious about being inclusive of kids with special needs. In the fall of 2007, the school will move to a beautiful new facility, conveniently located off Rte. 1 in Norwood.
