This is truly a great school! The administration and the teachers are all on the same page with the child's academics and they work together. There is professional harmony and the students know they are cared about and there is a spirit of learning and positive attitudes. If problems arise they are delt with in a proper manner. The special education dept. is truly exceptional group of people and they really go the extra mile to make sure the parents understand what they are going to do for their child and their child's goals are met. I have returned to the school system after my child was at a charter school and I know they are delivering all the educational elements within the Massachusetts academic framework. I am so ever grateful to them. I wish I was a kid again so I could go to school there.

Boyden is a wonderful school with some very knowledgable and dedicated teachers. Boyden is now very open to parents. If there are any issues or questions there are explanations given or plans of actions taken. I couldn't be happier that my kids attend this school.

While there are alot of patient, kind teachers, this school only teaches for the mcas tests and the other subjects get put on the back burner. As the test scores have shown, this is probably not the way to go. They do not offer spanish as part of the curriculum either,as they do in alot of the nearby towns. only for a fee.

There is a new principal at Boyden this year. It is only fair to delete the statement that Boyden is not parent friendly. Mr. Stanton(new principal)has welcomed all.

This school has been very good for my child that has dyslexia. For my other child it has been okay also. The bad thing about the school is it is not a parent friendly school ie. No parents allowed for field day or any other school activities. And the principal is not at all friendly or helpfull. It would be a greatt school if not for those two very important factors.
