My two children attended St. Louis Elementary School for the first few years of their elementary education. I have to say that the first grade teacher was and continues to be outstanding-she works the children to the best of their potential and is very nurturing. She has years of teaching experience and is phenomenal. The school is well run and has an outstanding reputation. It has just received its accreditation.

My daughter went to St. Louis for kindergarten and the first month of 1st grade. We pulled her out because the 1st grade teacher was not nurturing at all. We found the level of work to be unchallenging. My daughter came home and said how bored she was. The prinicpal was unwilling to listen about any issues we had. On the plus side, the kids are mostly well-behaved and very friendly. My daughter still remains friends with some of the kids over a year later. The parents are involved and clearly want the best for the kids. If learning is your biggest concern for your kids, I wouldn't recommend this school. If your are after social interaction then I would recommend it for that.

I can't say enough about the love and dedication from the teachers! They are so nurturing in a good way where a child can trully be comfortable to learn. They are very patient and is very consistent with expectations including academics and treating others well. My children thrive here compared to the public schools and it continues to amaze me as to how wonderful the students and teachers are. My daughter's 1st grade teacher stayed after school with me for a hour and a half because I wanted to learn a better way to help my child with her spelling. Amazing, amazing and more amazing!

My family and I love this school! We switched schools after attending another catholic polish school in town and couldn't be happier. The academics are strong and consistent-something that was lacking at our previous school. The principal, staff, teachers and families have been warm and welcoming. We have also joined the parish and feel spiritually uplifted when attending the Masses. Knowing the difference between the 2 schools I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a strong cathloic enriched and academically challenged environment.

My son transferred to St. Louis in third grade. I was amazed at how welcoming the staff, faculty, parents and students were. From the very first day he felt as though he had been there since kindergarten. The academic program is wonderful from K-8. My second child just started kindergarten there this year and is already reading independently. The community at the school is their greatest asset. Parent volunteers are abundant, and the students benefit greatly from their time and effort. The teachers and administration are always willing to take the time with students and parents. They are very professional and dedicated. I would highly recommend St. Louis.
