This is an amazing school. It offers excellent academics, a kind nurturing environment, and individual attention, at the same time, the school promotes individual responsibility and weaves the Catholic faith into all that we do.
We have been very happy with our experience at St. John so far. The new principal has been wonderful. Each morning she greets every child at the door of the school. The school is excellent academcially - the children come out of the school very well prepared for the next level. It is the best value around!
St. John is a wonderful school! The school has a very tight parent community and the kids develop friendships that will last a lifetime. The school also has some of the highest average standard testing scores in the state. Additionally, they learn about respect, kindness towards others and civic responsibility. They also opened a preschool program which is fabulous and very nurturing. This is a gem of a school!!! Check it out- you will look no further.
St. John's is a close-knit community of parents and teachers who work together to educate children. The new principal (started fall 2008) is wonderful and my children thoroughly enjoy going to school. They are academically challenged while learning in an environment where everyone knows them by name.
This school needs to move into the 21st century. The principal does not allow running at recess and only allows quiet talking at lunch. If rigid and strict are what you want, this is the place. If not, keep looking!
