This is a key year for PATH. If we as the adults in the building can succeed in establishing an academic environment we have a chance of being a good school. There are some very talented teachers and the kids are smart and capable. The key is in getting the fres hman to be willing to take risks and take the next step in intellectual development and self-discipline. As teachers we have to make a better case on why students should care about what we believe are important ideas and crucial skills.
