Though I admit Rivers offers an enriching education taught by memorable faculty and staff members, I did not appreciate the social aspects of the school. Rivers claims to be a safe and welcoming community, but as a student of four years, I can honestly say that that statement is practically false advertising. Unnecessary racist and homophobic incidents, a disgustingly clique-y and judgemental student body take away from what is capable of being a fitting institution for every prospective student.
I had a great experience attending Rivers. It was a perfect fit for me and those seeking a small school with incredible faculty. The school truly cares about their students and wants help them succeed. I was on some very good athletic teams and the classroom experience was great. I felt that it got me ready for college life and the schedule, tempo, and overall experience that I encountered there. Great place and would recommend to anybody.
My son attended Rivers from Grades 7 to 12 and received an outstanding education. The student to teacher ratio allows for small class sizes where every student participants. The staff is always available for extra help and go out of there way to support the students. Rivers is an opportunity of a lifetime!
