This used to be a great school. Most of the good teachers have left. The school is much to focused on recruitment. This was never the case at Venerin before. So sad to see what is happening to this once beloved school. Not what it used to be.

The school has a few great teachers, they are the gems. A few simply do not know how to teach and a few have lost interest. When you get a gem your child thrives, but if not the year is difficult. The academics have suffered over the years and the priority has become recruitment and "looking good". I also firmly believe EACH and EVERY child should be valued and I find this is not the case. Favoritism of a few is rampant. I am not alone and It amazes me how many parents I hear complain about the same things. Parents opinions are not solicited or valued when volunteered. This school needs to get back to the fundamentals of great teaching and the valuing of each child. This is how you create a love of learning. To fix a problem you must first recognize it, ignoring only works for so long. Venerini needs to reassess their direction and values.

This school has some of the best teachers in the area, but I had a very disappointing experience with there business office and principal. My child attend form 1st - 4th and had very great skills after leaving. There business office has terrible time communicating and following through. I was given a hard time because of there error. They admitted there error and gave me a hard times for 4 months after they messed up. I was tried with multiple attempts to correct the issue. The principal was not very helpful, welcoming, or involved with the children. He was not the best choice for this community. Sad that they could not get it together.

This is a wonderful environment for children to grow and learn. We have 2 children attending in the lower elementary grades. All faculty, staff and administration know each child by their first and last name. Faculty greet each child in the mornings with a positive smile and gracious hello. The school truly is a gem. They ensure that each child is cared for creating a "home away from home". The kids are truly good to each other and demonstrate respect for themselves, their peers, faculty and the school itself. If you have children and are looking for a great education and supportive environment, this should be on the top of your list.

We have been at Venerini Academy for five years now and both of my children are working on a solid foundation for academic excellence! There isn t a high school out there that they wouldn t be prepared for after graduation! Families here are wonderful! Many give of their own free time to help out and pitch in making Venerini truly a diamond on the hill.

Venerini truly is a gem. We were a Venerini family for 15 years - our three children were so much better prepared for their private high schools (Notre Dame & St. John's) than their public school, and many other Catholic school, peers. All three of them were placed into all honors and AP classes. Venerini gives children plenty of individual attention, and both fosters the growth of existing talents and helps to create new ones.

I find Vernenini to be a very understanding and caring enviroment to learn in. The teachers are wonderful. My two sons are very happy there since age 3, they are in 5th & 6th grade now. Choosing Venerini has proven to be a Great Choice!

My older son went here andnow my younger one does. We love the atmosphere, the teachers are incredible.Small class sizes allow for individual attention, which for us is very important at this stage in the childrens' lives. We would like academic curriculum to be a little more challenging to the kids. Excellent overall rating !

We have had 2 sons in Venerini for the last 7 years and are very happy with the education. Great families, caring teachers, small class sizes and individual attention. I echo the extensive parental and family involvement. Would like to have a playground rather than a paved parking lot for the children but this is a trade off. Competitive athletics. Excellent well rounded education.

We love Venerini, currently have one child enrolled and will enroll the younger two when they are ready for kindergarten. The teachers are incredibly dedicated, the program is rigorous, the parents are involved. I was skeptical since I am a public school teacher, but am convinced this private school is a solid foundation for future academic success and an incredible value. One of Worcester's true gems.

As a parent I am very satisfied with the experience my daughter is having Venerini. The school atmospher is warm and welcoming. The classes are just big enough for the children to have the attention they need and the teachers are able to have a better appreciation of the needs of each child. I welcome the discipline and structure of the school. I would encourage anyone to send their child to this school.

My wife and I are very pleased with Venerini. Our son has attended the school for two years and his teachers have all been wonderful. There is a tremendous spirit among the staff, the students and the famalies affiliated with the school. I would recommend this school to anyone - and will be sending our other two sons here when they reach school-age.

I hated school my whole life until I went to Venerini. I am currently a senior in college in MA and majoring in International Business. A key part of my education is my ability to learn foreign languages. I have experience in three languages and I must say that the nurturing environment that I got from my elementary education at Venerini has inspired me to choose this career path. The staff was always warm and welcoming, but at the same time strict enough to encourage you to work your hardest. I remember my days at VA like they were yesterday, and I still look back on the techniques I learned in 7th grade Spanish classes to help me in my Italian classes today! I don't know too many other schools that prepare you for life with the intense curriculum that Venerini offers.

There in no leadership and the teachers that are qualified to teach are leaving. This school is not the only choice in Worcester. You should really look elsewhere.

This school is absolutely wonderful - my child is a 3rd generation attendee, and we are thrilled - not your typical parochial school - a very warm, friendly, attentive, professional, caring staff. The extra-curricular activities that are available are good, but are limited. Usually, these involve quite a bit of parent volunteers. Wonderful community outreach too! The children who attend here benefit from these features, as well as an excellent curriculum, which is not defined by state taxes and laws. I highly expect my child to continue to be a well-educated, well-rounded individual.

I'm currently going to venerini and in middle school. This school has a great academic and you learn so quickly. The teachers are pretty good but I do favor some more then others. My grade is very cliquey. There also are minimum clubs and sports, I hate that. But other then that its pretty good. I know I'll be ready for high school.

venerini academy has provided my child with a wonderful academic experience. My child is able to learn French and take lessons in art and music. The staff is top notch and is able to really forge relationships with the students due to the small class size. I also am very happy with the large amount of parental involvement seen at the school

At the moment I am attending Venerini and I have loved it since I began going in Pre-. At the time I am in the middle school and the only downside is having to wear a kilt! The teachers at the school are wondrful and because of the smaller classes each student learns the subject no matter what their style is. It's a wonderful place for us to make friends especially since you see them all throughout the day even if you don't have the same schedule. I've made some lifelong friends because I've had a chance to really get to know them! It's also easy to get along with the teachers, this year I can honestly say I have least favorites *subjects* not teachers! It's going to be so hard to have to say goodbye to everyone next year!

Venerini Academy provides children with a secure and nurturing academic environment. The curriculum and faculty is excellent throughout the school. Venerini has exceeded our expectations on all levels, primary, intermediate, and middle school. Venerini provides a stable and challenging curriculum during the middle school years that is extremely critical to the social and academic development of each child. The student body is diverse in ways found outside the traditional definition. In addition to being co-ed, it is comprised of students that are equally split from the city and the suburbs. The high level of parental involvement adds to the total educational experience of each child.

After attending Venerini, I learned how much it truly meant to me to attend a small school. I attended a small high school and now attend a small college. The staff at Venerini were always so caring to me and I now realize how wonderful the education I received there was.

Wonderful school! Small class size (20) and caring teachers make it a great place to learn. Parent participation welcome, especially in lower grades. We have loved it here. Our child is happy, confident, and smart...what more could you ask for?
