MY 2 BOYS SUFFER FROM ADHD- HOWEVER , VERY BRIGHT CHILDREN -ACADEMICALLY AT PAR // BEHAVIORAL ISSUES SEEM TO BE THE PROBLEM THEY FACE IN SCHOOL DUE TO SOME EXTENT FROM THEIR HYPERACTIVITY. MY 5 Y.O. DAUGHTER IS ALSO A VERY BRIGHT CHILD-CURRENTLY IN PRE-SCHOOL.SO, AS YOU CAN IMAGINE I HAVE MY HANDS FULL(SMILE)-A WONDERFUL ADVENTURE AT TIMES. AS FOR MYSELF, I AM A FULL-TIME WORKING PARENT. I WORK IN A MEDICAL SETTING(DEPT. OF RADIOLOGY). THANK GOD, I HAVE A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS THAT HELP ME IMMENSLY ESPECIALLY, WHEN IT COMES TO HAVEING MY( 2) YOUNGER CHILDRENS AFTER -SCHOOL PICK-UPS. MODAY THROUGH FRIDAYS, I AM UP BY 5A.M. TO START OFF MY DAY ;AND USUALLY BY 11 P.M I HIT THE HAY!!! SATURDAY AND SUNDAYS, I TAKE THE CHILDREN OUT ON A TREAT- IF THE WEATHER PERMITS IT. IF NOT, THEN I JUST FIND INDOOR ACTIVITIES TO KEEP THEM STIMULATED. OF COURSE, EACH ONE IS INDIVIDUALIZED...PERSONALLY, I CATCH UP ON SOME READING WHILE THEY ARE ENTERTAINED OR I GET ON THE WEB.
